I'm creating this blog to honor my great great grandfather, John Zwahlen.  He was a small man of Swiss ancestry who came to Utah after his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  My great aunt Violet Smith, a granddaughter of John Zwahlen told me many stories of her beloved grandfather.  I later appreciated him more after serving a mission to Germany, where he served some 80 years before I did.  I also found and published his journal for the family.

To honor him, I am posting this blog so family members can relate stories they have heard of this great man.
